How to Calculate Intermediate Percentage

Add your Part 1 and Part 2 obtained marks together, divide by the combined total marks, and multiply by 100.

Formula: Percentage = ((Part 1 Obtained + Part 2 Obtained) / (Part 1 Total + Part 2 Total)) × 100

For example, if you scored 420/550 in Part 1 and 460/550 in Part 2, your percentage is: (880 / 1100) × 100 = 80%.

Intermediate Grading System in Pakistan

All Pakistani boards — including Punjab, Sindh, KPK, Balochistan, AJK, and FBISE — use a percentage-based grading system for HSSC (Intermediate) exams. Most boards have 550 total marks per part.
